Pricing
Priced by the load, not by the customer.
What a permit costs us to file depends on the load - a regular oversize single trip is minutes, a superload is days. So the rate follows the load, and drops again as your volume grows. State permit fees always pass straight through at cost.
What a permit costs
Three tiers, decided by the load itself. The state’s own permit fee is separate and passed through at cost.
Regular OD
Up to 10 ft wide
The everyday oversize permit. Most single-trip loads land here.
- Width up to 10 ft 0 in
- Height up to 13 ft 11 in
- Length up to 85 ft
- Gross weight up to 80,000 lbs
Sizeable load
10 ft 1 in to 13 ft 6 in wide
Past any one of the regular limits. Route review, escort rules and curfews start to matter.
- Width 10 ft 1 in to 13 ft 6 in
- Height up to 15 ft
- Length up to 90 ft
- Gross weight up to 110,000 lbs
Superload
Over 13 ft 6 in wide
Every superload is its own project, so we price it after we've seen it rather than guessing in advance.
- Wider than 13 ft 6 in, or taller than 15 ft
- Longer than 90 ft, or over 110,000 lbs
- More than 6 axles
- Route surveys and police escorts coordinated
on a new client's first 10 permits, whatever tier they fall in. Long enough to judge the service, on us.
Which tier a load falls in
We don’t pick this by eye. The tier comes from the dimensions you send us, and a load sits in the higher tier the moment it crosses any one of these lines - width, height, length, weight, axle count, or the extra work a state requires.
- Regular OD
- Up to 10 ft 0 in wide, 13 ft 11 in tall, 85 ft long, and 80,000 lbs
- Sizeable load
- Over any regular limit, up to 13 ft 6 in wide, 15 ft tall, 90 ft long, and 110,000 lbs
- Superload
- Over 13 ft 6 in wide, over 15 ft tall, over 90 ft long, over 110,000 lbs, or more than 6 axles
It drops as you run more
The discount applies to whichever tier a load falls in, and starts automatically the month you cross the threshold. Nothing to apply for.
| Permits a month | Discount | Standard | Sizeable |
|---|---|---|---|
| Under 25 / mo | Standard rate | $20 | $30 |
| 25-99 / mo | 10% off | $18 | $27 |
| 100+ / mo | 25% off | $15 | $22 |
Superloads are quoted individually, and the same volume relationship is reflected in the quote.
Add-ons
Optional, priced separately, and only charged when you ask for them.
Driver-ready route
We read the issued permit and turn its written route into something a driver can actually follow: a map, plus GPX for the truck's GPS and KML for dispatch.
- Every junction the permit names, not a simplified version
- GPX for Garmin, Rand McNally and truck GPS units
- KML for Google Earth, My Maps and dispatch software
Permit amendment
Dates moved, dimensions corrected, a route changed after issue. We refile with the state and send the corrected permit back.
Annual / blanket permit
If you run the same lanes all year, an annual beats paying per trip. We'll tell you honestly which states are worth it for your lanes.
We don't touch the state's fee
You pay the state exactly what they charge. Ours is listed separately.
Always the same team
No queue, no ticket - the people who file your permits are the ones who answer.
No money up front to start
New clients don't prepay. We file the permit, then invoice you.
Start with a single permit - nothing to sign, nothing to cancel.
